Dr. Megan Morris Evans was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. After graduating from Athens High School, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama-Huntsville. She then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry. Dr. Evans provides comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and medical treatment of eye diseases, as well as routine vision care and ocular emergencies. Dr. Evans is active in her church and local philanthropic organizations. She and her husband, Taylor, have two daughters and reside in Athens.

Dr. Gregory Stewart grew up in Birmingham and went to John Carroll Catholic High School. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Following that, he earned his Doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition to performing routine eye exams and contact lens evaluations, Dr. Stewart is an expert in the management of eye conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye syndrome, uveitis, eye injuries, and eye infections. He is married to Claire, a reading specialist at Madison Elementary School. They have two sons and live in Athens. Outside of work, Dr. Stewart enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and grilling, and watching Ole Miss sports.

Dr. Paul Vandiver was born and raised in Decatur, Alabama, and is a graduate of Austin High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Athens State University, followed by a Doctorate of Optometry at The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2004. Dr. Vandiver provides comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and medical treatment of eye diseases, as well as routine vision care and ocular emergencies. He is married to Leslie Brown Vandiver, also from Decatur, and they are the proud parents of twins, William and Westyn. Dr. Vandiver’s interests include traveling with his family, hiking, playing guitar, and watching Alabama football.

Dr. Ocampo is originally from Hamilton, Alabama, where she graduated from Hamilton High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science from Auburn University Montgomery and then earned her Doctorate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where she graduated with honors. During her time at UABSO, Dr. Ocampo held several leadership positions and participated in humanitarian trips to the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Honduras to provide eye exams to underserved communities.

Dr. Ocampo has been serving residents of the Tennessee Valley area since 2006 when she moved to Decatur with her son, Alex. She is passionate about providing the highest quality eye care, and her patients often remark on how her warm personal approach puts them at ease. Dr. Ocampo provides comprehensive eye care, including routine eye exams with prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses as well as the diagnosis and management of eye diseases. She also provides pre- and post-operative care for surgical procedures, and she is especially interested in helping her patients see their very best so they can enjoy a high quality of life.

Since graduating optometry school, Dr. Ocampo has been very involved in her profession by serving in several leadership positions, including President of the Alabama Optometric Association. Her dedication to her profession was recognized in 2012 when her peers presented her with the Alabama Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year Award. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Ocampo enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with family. She also loves learning new things and continues to add to her growing list of hobbies and skills.
